How the comparison is made
Calculation, interpretation, and your schedule
Interpreted
Orrery’s published electional rules weigh Moon phase, void-of-course intervals, Mercury retrograde, and the Moon’s aspects to the planet assigned to your action. Read the method.
Applied
The comparison considers your available dates, deadlines, and preparation time alongside the astrological ranking.
Computed demonstration
Sample report
A synthetic pitch-planning example for October 2026 in America/New_York, calculated with Orrery config v3. Scores are computed; scheduling and preparation details are illustrative. No customer or birth data is used.
Friday, October 30
10–11 AM
Score 38/100, the higher of these two candidates. The applying Moon–Mercury trine adds 14 points. Mercury retrograde and the waning Moon subtract 26 points from the base of 50.
Tuesday, October 27
10–11 AM
Score 24/100. Mercury retrograde and the waning Moon subtract 26 points, with no applying-aspect contribution at this hour. It is an earlier option if the Friday deadline is too late.
Check availability
Confirm the recipient can review the pitch at the chosen time. Use any additional preparation days to check the figures and rehearse. These scores do not predict a response.
